The Sts. Peter and Paul

the curriculum is designed to match age and grade level. We provide
students
with guided instruction in Keyboarding, Computer Ethics and Security,
Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft
Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, MS Publisher), as well as
instruction on productive uses of the Internet for learning.
The Sts. Peter and Paul School's computer lab is equipped with 36 Compaq workstations connected via Ethernet to the network. Shared network resources include the SPPS Active Directory/File Server, Internet service via DSL, and network laser printers (HP 4050 and HP2500 Color). The workstations are running Windows 2000 as their operating system and Microsoft Office 2000 as the productivity suite, in addition to several other task specific software applications.
Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic
School is proud to announce that as of January 2009, we have completed
installation of SMART Boards in each of the classrooms. Each classroom
has been
equipped with a SB680i Generation 2 SMART board. The SMART Boards are
interactive white boards that help to transform the classroom into a
learning
environment that is engaging and motivational! By integrating technology
in the
classroom, the teachers are able to tap into a multitude of resources
rich in
content while empowering students to be active participants in their
learning.
The SMART Boards are the
latest addition to the learning resources available at Sts. Peter and
Paul, and
reflect our ongoing efforts to combine traditional education with modern
technology.
