On our Panther Country News and morning...

Wednesday, April 15, 2026

...We started by recognizing Mrs. Jude as our March 2026 Panther with a Purpose Recipient! The Panther with a Purpose Award is proudly presented to Mrs. Maria Elena Jude, a true pillar of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School whose legacy of service, faith, and excellence spans 35 years.

Mrs. Jude embodies our school pillars of Discipleship, Scholarship, and Excellence in every sense. As our Catholic Identity Angel, she has been instrumental in strengthening the spiritual life of our school serving faithfully through Emmaus, leading our chapel restoration efforts, and acting as a devoted apostle alongside the Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary. Notably, she was instrumental in bringing religious sisters back to SPP, welcoming their return to teach at our school after more than two decades. Her impact extends far beyond our campus, reaching deeply into our community and the lives of so many families.

In the classroom, Mrs. Jude has led with purpose and passion, supporting strong academic growth in mathematics while always nurturing the whole child. As a team lead, she has guided colleagues with wisdom, consistency, and heart. She also made history as the coordinator of our school’s very first pilgrimage creating a meaningful, faith-filled experience that united our school community. Mrs. Jude is the definition of selfless service consistently going above and beyond, giving of herself fully, and leading with unwavering dedication until the very end. Her legacy is one of faith in action, love in service, and excellence in all she has done.

We honor Mrs. Maria Elena Jude as a Panther with a Purpose one who has faithfully lived our mission and leaves behind a lasting and beautiful impact on Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School.
